I registered my blog on July 23rd, so I am official! I still haven't been able to get my Avatar to show up. If any of you have the answer, it will be greatly appreciated!
Here are step-by-step directions. After you create your avatar, 1. In the column on the extreme right, click on "Export." 2. Choose the size and file format. 3. select HTML under "Generate." 4. Click on "Select All." 5. Copy (Control-C) 6. Paste to your blog (Control-V)

I tried exporting the avatar using the directions above and it did not work for me either. I used the "Download Your Avatar" feature and that worked.
